I cooked it and found that some of the advice was very off. For example, doing it on High heat created a burnt bubbling mass of molten caramel that sputtered and made a mess of the kitchen. I recommend a smaller lemon than a larger one and just enough to prevent the fruit from turning brown, adding the lemon flavor and the burnt caramel did not taste pleasant. There is also the time that should be increased to at least ten minutes. Not a recipe for beginners. I'm wiling to try again, but not any time soon. It has a lot of potential though. Try it but be prepared to add all the ingredients in advance.

This was so easy and yet felt so gourmet! I omitted the alcohol and I didn't have a cinnamon stick on hand so I used some cinnamon sugar.
A nice way to spruce up some ice cream.
