Ingredients

  • 6 fresh raspberries
  • 1 packed tablespoon dark brown sugar
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 ounces golden rum
  • Juice of 1/2 lime (about 1 tablespoon)

Directions

Muddle raspberries with sugar in a rocks glass. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the rum and lime juice, shake until chilled. (In general, the drink is ready by the time the shaker mists up.) Pour drink with some ice over the berries in the glass.

I did eventually add club soda to make this go a little further, but loved it either way

The frozen version has to be better

After trying this drink I found it impossible to swallow. I can only think the original daiquiri version had to be better!

Very simple. Delicious drink. We loved it! As soon as I found the recipe I had to try it. I didn't have limes on hand so I... used the fresh lemons- tasted great!Read more
