SOOO good & summery- I even used frozen green beans & just defrosted them before mixing with all the other ingredients & it was fabulous! Non-salad-loving hubby had 3 helpings- the 2 of us ate the whole thing!! Crisp, cool, healthy as can be... a perfect new twist on boring ol' green beans!

I randomly found this while searching for basically a "filler" for a chicken plate. It was SO good! It has so much flavor and is so easy to make! I couldn't figure out if it was supposed to be served chilled or not, so I boiled the beans and then let them sit for a while to cool. It tasted great! I ate the leftovers the next day and the flavors soak in and it's still good! I will definately make this a staple recipe!

I wanted to make this, try it and then save some for the next day to see how it tasted after time. Well, the family liked it so much, we ate the whole bowl! Nice tangy flavor and a nice way to do up boring green beans.

This salad is very easy to prepare and perfect for outdoor fare. I found it even more delicious 2 days later, it had a chance for beans & celery to absorb the dressing. It was still crisp and the shallots added a nice touch of color as well as the welcome onion/garlic flavor. A nice change from baked beans on a picnic~keeping it healthy too.
