Ingredients

Directions

  1. Mix the green tea powder, sugar, ginger and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a small shallow bowl.
  2. Generously wipe the rims of 8 pint glasses with a lemon slice to moisten. Dip the rim of each glass into the prepared green tea powder mixture to coat. Set aside.
  3. Pour the green tea into a pitcher. Holding the bottles at angle to avoid building a stiff head, slowly pour the ginger beer and IPA into the pitcher. Gently stir to combine.
  4. Pick 12 large mint leaves and smack them against the palm of your hand to release their natural oils. Tear each leaf in half, then place about 3 pieces into each of the prepared glasses. Fill each glass with a small scoop of ice.
  5. Divide the beer mixture evenly among the prepared glasses.
  6. Float a 1-ounce shot (two tablespoons) of vodka over the beer mixture in each glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel and stem of fresh mint.
