A perfect base for a classic guacamole. After that it’s all about practice...practice...practice. How to select the right avocados. The perfect mash for the avocado (or when to stop mashing and start folding. The right splash of lime. How much salt is going to suite your palette without constantly folding and tasting. The little details have to be chalked off to a few attempts of a classic recipe.

They almost got the guacamole receipe right. However with 3 avacados the recipe will need 1/2 of queezed lime as well as 1/2 of a squeezed orange - a splash of lime will not bring out the flavor and the orange will add just enough sugar to excite the palete.

the only thing different I did was not 'mash' the avocado... We like bigger chunks... so I just chopped them. Very good, and easy recipe!

At first glance I didn't think much of this recipe, but it is guac after all, and it's pretty much a free-form combination. This is probably as good as any and isn't fussy or technical like some guacamole recipes are. And you don't use a food processor, which is a big plus.
