My daughter confirmed to me that I was a good cook, thanks to this recipe. I feel great knowing that I can cook burger from scratch!

These were some of the best burgers I've ever made! My kids even ate them and they aren't big burger lovers. I didn't use the hot sauce and only half of the onion powder and a little less garlic powder and topped them with pepper jack cheese and they were amazing!!!! Thanks Food Network!!!! I'll be using this recipe from now on!!!

I'm a vegetarian, but my husband said they were the best burgers I ever made. I used half the garlic and onion powder called for, seemed like a lot.

Fabulous cook that I am, I always create very bland burgers. This is the 5th time I am making this recipe and absolutely love it!!!
It's easy and very flavorful. I guess simple is better. : I think the cast iron skillet searing and then placing it in the oven not only enhances the flavor but keeps it nice and juicey.

The recipe calls for way too much onion powder and garlic powder. Personally I thought it was uneatable.

My hubby & I are very picky eaters and I have NEVER liked homemade burgers. I will eat these burgers from now on, I can't believe how good they are. The very first time I made them for guests and they raved about them too - can't wait to make them again!

"Now this is what I call a hamburger, not meatloaf on a bun."

I made these for a family birthday party and more than a couple of people said they were the best burgers they ever had. Eveb my son who complains about eating everything, asked for a second burger.
