Chocolate cake happens to be my favorite dessert, and it's hard to find a perfect product. Personally, I think this is the best recipe I have ever tried. The cake stays moist and delicious, not too decadent and perfect by itself or with a simple frosting or glaze. This one's a keeper.

this recipe was very easy and my kids loved it no chance to save a piece for the next day. I did use cake flour , and the 2 round cake pans lovely. the frosting was great I used a coconut milk powder easier then opening a whole can of coconut milk. Wish I could include my picture cause it's soooo yummm. THANKS

Instead of making individual cupcakes, I used 2 81/2 inch pans (greased and dusted with chocolate powder. I left out 1/4 cup of sugar and baked the cakes for 50 min. at 350. Then frosted the middle and top (with the Glaze, and used the toasted coconut on both layers. It was the moistest, light but still rich chocolate cake ever. My husbands new favorite cake (and he doesn't like cakes - just anything else chocolate! Thank's Food Network Kitchens for the idea!
