    Super easy, readily available ingredients, and quick.
    I did omitted nutmeg as per other reviews.
    Creamy and rich, but very healthy! Perfect for winter lunches.

    Also made seafood chowder with this soup recipe base, just omitting broccoli and cheese, adding a bit of carrots and celery, clams, crab meat and salmon. It turned out fantastic!

    This has become my go-to soup recipe for busy weeknights.

    Great recipe! Simple and flavorful...So much creamier and heartier than I thought it would be. I substituted olive oil for the cooking spray and omitted the nutmeg. I will definitely make this again.

    So quick and easy, and really tasty! I will absolutely be making this again. However, after reading the comments I did choose to leave out the nutmeg.

    IF I had to make this again, I would NOT add the nutmeg. It smelled like Christmas in my bowl. I love broccoli and cheese soup, but with the nutmeg I couldn't eat it and ended up dumping it down the drain :( I even tried to add more cheese, broccoli, even added milk.. but nothing got rid of that darn nutmeg taste!

    Tastes very healthy and not too heavy, unlike most broccoli/cheddar soups. I'd make it again...

    Very good flavor. I used a Tbsp. of olive oil instead of the cooking spray and had good results. This is definately a recipe I'll use very often because it is light, creamy, and easy to make.

    The recipe is absolutely wonderful and very easy to make. According to my daughter - "The best cheddar broccoli soup that I have ever tasted". According to son - "It is creamy, crunchy, smooth - three of my favorite things." We doubled the recipe and look forward to leftovers for the rest of the week.
