This recipe is GREAT! After having it last night I couldn't believe that only 2 people tried and reviewed it. It is unbelievably easy to prepare and amazingly tasty. So much so that I decided to sign up to the Food Network website so I could write this review. I was looking for a recipe that didn't require grilling and I decided to try it. Even my kids liked it and they are very picky to eat fish! I had to cook it thoroughly for them but they were happy to eat it. I used dried rosemary and thyme because I didn't have them fresh. This recipe is definitely getting on my "often made" dishes list.

Was looking high and low for a simple tuna steak recipe...this was absolutely fabulous! Even my mom who does not do raw fish loved this. Very tasty and will make this again...and again.

This was absolutely amazing! I love tuna but find myself going toward the Asian flavors 99% of the time. When I received my Food Network Mag this month, I knew this was a recipe I had to try. The ONLY part of my garden flourishing this summer is the herb section. I used fresh thyme and rosemary exactly as noted in recipe for 1 1/2 steaks. I was a bit concerned 1 Tbsp of olive oil wouldn't be enough, but it was perfect. The scallions also added great flavor. I marinated for approx 3 hours. We like our tuna very rare so a few minutes on each side and WOW...my new go to recipe for tuna. This definitely tasted like tuna I would expect at a five star restaurant. Try it - you will not be disappointed. Also made the Garlic Aioli (see review and roasted veggies noted in magazine. Perfect meal!
