I have to watch the salt and fat, so I used honly alf a cup of Hoisin, added no extra salt, used skinless chicken breasts and marinated for several hours before baking at 375* for 45 moinutes. Flavors are great!

All the flavors in the marinade were great and tasted wonderful. I used only drumsticks and chicken came out moist and flavorful. Only thing I would do different is save some extra marinade or make a little bit more to the side away from the chicken to baste on grill the entire cooking time. I would also be careful of temp of grill on high, mine was too high and I burned all the skin off. Probably best to take skin off drumsticks before marinading. otherwise, fantastic recipe!

I DO know what hoisin sauce tastes like and I thought this was a great recipe.

I figured out I do not like Hoisin sauce as a main ingredient. Wil not make again.
