This was very good and beautiful to see. I did tweak it. I didn't have currants so I used dried cranberries. I also added finely chopped dried apricots, and a touch of
    cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. Wonderful!

This was a huge hit with my husband and all my friends. I didn't have any currants, but nobody missed it.

This bread recipe is so easy to make. Make sure you have everything is at room temp. before you start. I used raisins as I do not like currents. Remember to wait if you can till the bread is cool down before you start eating it or you will have nothing left for dinner. This is now my favoriate bread recipe!!!

This bread was easy to make and my family loved it. Great for breakfast or a not-too-sweet following to a meal.

I used one less egg yolk in the main batter and it still tasted great. I ate it for dessert with butter and cinnamon sugar spread across one side of the challah. Even I, an 11 year old girl could make this recipe with no experience of making bread. It was a very easy recipe.

I bake all the time with great results.............I am still waiting for the dough to rise.
Followed recipe exactly as written and the dough just sat there after 6 hours. The yeast was good. The recipe was not.

Loved it, but would prefer a graham cracker crust.
