The five star rating is for the meatball recipe... so delicious. I used a different marinara recipe so I can't critique that part. Don't sub out any of the three meats, because to me it's what makes these taste better and moister than average meatballs. Will definitely make again soon.

By the way, Giada's marinara recipe went great with these meatballs.

I have tried different sauces, meatballs and I even make my own gravy (sauce which takes about 2 to 3 hours but this is the easiest and best tasting ever.. My husband and family liked it so much that they request it over and over.. You won't be disappointed..

This is the BEST meatball recipe if you follow it to a "T." My husband (as well as I thought this was great. I have to admit I used half ground pork and half ground beef (omitting the veal, but it was still amazing. The ingredients are right on. make sure you refrigerate time for at least an hour because it helps them keep their shape when cooking. A+

ps- this rating does not include the marinara. I used Giada's recipe

We've tried other meatball recipes that have been dry and tough. This one wasn't. It was very good.

I made these for my family once, even though I hated meatballs. Now I love them, but only if I make them. These are easy... not quick... but easy.

Not so crazy about the accompanying tomato sauce recipe, but the meatballs are very tender and flavorful. Make sure that you barely combine the ingredients or they toughen up.

I have made these again & again. After I cook them,I freeze them in portion packets for my families use. They are moist & delicious & take on the sauce flavor when I put them in the sauce to simmer. They have become a staple in my freezer.

I love spaghetti and have had a hard time finding a recipe that is better than my favorite restaurant. Well here it is. We've served it at many events and everyone loves it.
