Directions
Heat 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 or 3 strips lemon zest and 3 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, 3 minutes. Meanwhile, cook 1 head broccoli florets and 1 sliced carrot in boiling salted water, 3 minutes. Drain and toss with the lemon oil, a squeeze of lemon juice, and salt and pepper.

Good start to an excellent recipe. I accidentally doubled the lemon zest and ended up being glad. If I hadn't, there wouldn't have been anything to taste from the lemon. Used frozen broccoli because it's what was on hand, but it turned out to be a great side dish for us!

I usually hate vegetables, but this dish is so good, and very easy to make. Definitely worth making again and again.
