This is a very easy and very tasty dish. The only variation to the recipe I made was to change one cup of water to 3/4C milk (1% on hand + 1/4C heavy cream. This gave the grits a very nice creamy texture. My husband gave it two thumbs up and 5 stars!

There's only on reason to give this meal 5 stars is because that's the highest you can recieve.
This meal took so little time to prepare, it was truly less than 30 minutes.
Funny thing is that I used store brand items and it tasted like it was from a 5 star resturant. The only thing that I changed was that I used red pepper flakes for that little zing.
The family loved it. We really do try to eat healthy and low fat diets. The meal along side with a nice green salad was very filling. My wife, daughter and 2 grown sons were a very happy family after dinner.

    Thanks,
    Mike, Ocala,Fl.

I didn't have grits handy so substituted couscous. I also added some fresh spinach to the shrip toss. The kids loved it. Total prep time around 15min. Excellent quick dish!

This was so simple to make. It only took me 15 minutes from the time I lit the fire to plating it. Everybody loved it. I used 1/2 the cayenne pepper to suit the crowd, and I topped it all off with some extra parmesian cheese. Great recipe!

This recipe was tasty. I didn't think the shrimp was anything special or different, but good. I've never had grits before and didn't care for them If I make this again I'd do it with angel hair pasta or maybe rice. Definitely VERY easy and quick.
