I made this for me and my husband a few days ago and we both loved it, and he's not a fan of fruit whatsoever! I loved how the apples cooked down but weren't too mushy. I halved all the ingredients except for the sauce, since I read that someone recommended making extra. I accompanied with some white rice, but brown rice would work as well. I'll probably make it again in the coming weeks!

Delicious! Removed the sage, but do recommend double the glaze, especially if you make it with rice.

Really easy to make and great flavor. I had dinner on the table in under 30 minutes, which is ideal during the work week. I was initially worried that it would be too sweet, and was unsure of what side would match the flavor. In the end, the vinegar really balances out the sweetness and the roasted new potatoes I made with it worked well. Sticky rice would also be a good choice.

I skipped the broth all together and it was amazing! Cook chicken 75% in oil, then add everything else, careful because the vinegar will catch on fire ( if using gas but the results are a very nice, light, but flavorfull dish. Without the broth the apples and onions keep some texture and just enough of their own flavor. If it isn't good, you didn't do it right.

Full of flavors but apple did turn out soggy (I doubled the glaze and used Fuji apple. My chicken was a little bit dry. I added rosemary and red wine vinegar instead of the sage and apple cider vinegar. I added some freshly cut apples when serving and my friends actually enjoyed the idea.
