The market was out of Ground Chicken, this worked will with Turkey. I also used fat free yogurt. We used diced sun dried tomatoes instead of fresh. Yum.

I make these at least once a month, the flavor is strong enough but not overpowering. They are easy for a weeknight meal but taste like you spent much more time on them. I do not use the pomgrante sauce as I don't do sauces so have no opinion on that.

So easy for such a flavorful dish. My husband & I both liked it. The meat is packed with flavor. I made my own pomegranate molasses/syrup with a recipe from this website. I had to use ground turkey instead of chicken. I used the leftover burers: ground them up and made "gyros" with tzatziki, still delicious!

These were delicious! I couldn't find pomegrante molasses, so I left that out. I substituted tzatziki for the yogurt. They were a bit gloppy to put together, but once they were cooked, they turned out quite well. I also substituted fresh basil for lettuce.

I am a big, big fan of this burger. I have made it with both ground chicken and ground turkey, and it's delicious either way. It has tremendous amounts of flavor and is extremely moist - probably due to the yogurt it calls for. I like that it's a tasty burger that varies from beef and that you can make on the stove top. The recipe is quite simple and turns out consistently well every time. Do let them rest with the pomegranate molasses as directed - it makes a big difference in the final result. I don't often make burgers when entertaining, but I've served these for company two times and both times they were blown away by the flavor and moistness of this dish. To make it more upscale, I serve it without the bun on a bed of curried couscous with currants, peas, pine nuts and some other stuff I can't recall right now. : It is a great pairing. These have definitely become a staple - healthy, too!
