I took to a potluck and everyone loved the crunchy outside & chewy inside.

I love the fact that it is crunchy on the top, but moist and chewy on the inside. Very yummy. I will be passing this recipe along to others.

I baked the brownies in a foil lined 8 x 8 glass baking pan. Although the recipe says bake for 40 mins if not using silicone, I checked mine at 30 mins and it was done. The brownines turned out very dry. I will try this recipe again because it so easy but bake only 25 mins and see if that helps.

I think the recipe could use little less sugar for the amount of flour. Occasionally it gets crustly on the top for me.
