For each sandwich, spread a scoop of neapolitan ice cream on a thin slice of pound cake, then top with another slice of cake. Smooth the edges so the ice cream is flush with the cake. Place on a plate and pour 2 tablespoons melted dark chocolate on top, letting it drip down the sides. Freeze until hard. Top with whipped cream and chopped pistachios.

Oh,truly delicious transformation of a classic!As a child,ate Neopolitan Ice Cream squares w/our neighbour on a rocking porch swing.Wrapped in white wax paper,was the Best.This Is a Grown up version that is Simplicity meets Sophiticate.Buy a loaf Pound cake,Dreamy fudge sauce,the Best able and Ice cream.As close to a spiritual Moment of Memories can recall.Next Dinner for friends,will beg for the recipe.How often are there compliments for such an easy dessert?Guarantee a Winner!Try prepared sandwiches and "gild the Lilly".
