I didn't have any flaxseed, but increased the flour by 1/4 c., and increased the choc. chips by 1/2 c. They were a little flat, but tasted so good, we didn't care one bit. Ten minutes was the perfect time for my oven.

These cookies are awesome. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I added a little more chocolate chips as well as about a half cup of butterscotch chips. I also added a 1/4 cup more of flour as suggested so altogether I used 1 cup of ww flour and 3/4 cup of white flour. Great way to use ground flax seeds.

Delicious! I used whole wheat flour too. Everyone loved these and you absolutely could not tell they had any "healthy stuff" in them!

I'm famous for my chocolate chunk oatmeal cookies, but I decided to try this recipe since I had ground flaxseed on hand. These cookies are so delicious, and my family loved them! I love to bake and this recipe is now at the front of baking binder. A++...thanks for sharing :0

We have made many different chocolate chip cookie recipes, but my family said this one was the best. Crispy, crunchy texture outside, but soft inside. As one reviewer suggested, I increased flour by 1/4 cup to make a little less flat. I like a really chewy texture, & like to "healthy" stuff up in ways family won't notice, so doubled the oats and used whole wheat pastry flour for 1/3 of the flour. I also decreased sugars by 1/4 cup overall, but still found them really sweet. I also agree w/ other reviewers that needed more chocolate chips, so I increased by 1/2 cup. A definite keeper!

They were great. I enjoyed making them with my 3 y/o son who ate a lot of the batter. : I also added more chocolate chips since it just didn't seem like enough. I also added wheat germ with the flax seed (to counter the chocolate chips of course. I am going to try this with whole wheat flour next time too. That was a good idea. I also think walnuts might be good.
