I thought it was great, although I used ground turkey instead, and they were still super moist and delicious.

I made this dish today, it came out a little soupy and a little bland. But I used a little more kosher salt. I did like the way it tasted. I will make this again.

Can't understand why this recipe hasn't gotten better ratings. The meatballs were VERY good, and it was easy to make. Just chop everything and throw in the food processor. The complaints that some people have about the sauce being too soupy is true, however if the sauce wasn't soupy the meatballs won't cook. In order to have a thicker sauce, don't put the lid on the pot when you're cooking the sauce, this will allow the steam to escape and make the sauce less soupy. I will definitely make this again, great meatballs and very easy.

The meatballs were excellent. I baked them at 350 for 15 minutes to release some of the fat before adding them to the sauce. I did add tomato paste to the sauce. I also serve over spaghetti squash to further reduce calorie and carbs. Since it was time consuming, I made a double batch of meatballs and triple batch of sauce. I froze what we didn't eat so we have another meal ready whenever we are.

Excellent meatball recipe. The sauce was good just not enough of it. Next time I will probably add some tomato paste and a little more broth. My husband and I like vermicelli noodles more than spaghetti, may try that next time also. This is definitely a keeper and it did not take me any longer to fix it that the 40 minutes specified.

Definitely took way longer than indicated, but overall I enjoyed this recipe especially because it was healthy. I used turkey instead of beef, added squash, zucchini, sugar to balance the acidity of the tomatoes and a half can of tomato paste for thickness. I will never buy a jar of spaghetti sauce ever again!

Too much work for me. I work all day and it was too much work for a weeknight. I only used the meatball portion of the recipe after reading other reviews of it. The meatballs were very good, I used breadcrums vs. bread. My family really enjoyed them. Definitely a weekend recipe.

It was wonderful. Did not yield as much as sauce as we prefer, but the flavor was great. I didn't even tell my family about the mushrooms (didn't want any drama. They ate it up!
