OMG this is by far the best rice pudding I ever made. I added i more cup of milk ( I like my pudding very creamy and not hard. Also for more flavor I added cloves and nutmeg to the boiling milk. This rice pudding is the only recipe I will ever use. Love it. Thank you

This is a fantastic recipe! even with my changes/mistakes it came out great. I used a little more of the peel than the zest (had a hard time zesting used turbinado sugar, not white sugar, added a little kaluha with the vanilla (wanted cointreau, but couldnt find it in house. The most signifcant mistake I made was i added all the liquid to the rice without letting it boil first. When I realized what I did I just kept stirring it, like risotto. I didn't do the marscapone/sugar topping and didn't think it needed it. It may have been extra sweet because of the sugar I used. found it hard to take out the cinnamon stick & peel so what I did was arrange them on top of the pudding before it cooled, so it looked like a decoration. Loved it. I'm making it again this weekend.

This recipe was very easy to follow and turned out great with minimal supervision! The orange adds a fresh twist to an old fave, great dish!

Now I don't like rice pudding but this recipe appealed to me. It was the orange and cinnamon combination that wooed me so I made it for the holidays and was absolutely impressed. My only complaint? This makes enough for an army! I can not believe that so little rice can make so much pudding. For a big family, make it as is but for just two people, definitely cut it in half!
