even though these pancakes were light, they had no flavor. I'll go back to Bisquick or keep looking for another recipe-this one is not a keeper!

These pancakes are not only simple to make, they are also delicious. These are a quick alternative to a box/mix and you have the ability to control the amount of sodium. I like to substitute the nutmeg for cinnamon or other spices depending upon the seasons! So easy your husband could make them!!! :

the batter was way to thin
the pancakes were bland, flat and gross
IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE THIS RECIPIE I CAUTION:ONLY MAKE HALF WHAT THE RECEPIE CALLS FOR SO IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THEM YOU WOULDN'T HAVE WASTED SO MANY INGREDIANTS i wish i did that, im sticking to the box mix from now on

I don't even like pancakes that much - especially that pre packaged crap. These were great - I made them for my husband and son - it seriously tasted like cake. Amazing.

Nothing fancy, but I wanted a recipe that used what I normally have in my kitchen. This one did the trick. I wasn't about to go out and buy buttermilk on a whim :

These came out great! Fluffy with a mild flavor. Make sure not to follow the recipe with the ingredients and quantities listed and yours should turn out just as well. I also used a touch of cinnamon. Next time, I might try using brown sugar instead :

I love this recipe! I use whole wheat flour and they turn out just as well. They are quick and easy! I also add fruit to the bottom of the batter once they are in the pan! Enjoy!
