My husband and I tried this recipe this morning. We found the pancakes very good, almost like my husband's mother's homemade pancakes. This is a compliment since she was a very good cook. We liked the nutmeg in the recipe. The pancakes went well with just butter, we don't use syrup on our pancakes. We would recommend this recipe.

These turned out so well. And they were really easy/cheap to make. Being a college student it is nice to have something quick to make in the morning, and these are great the next day too (freezer + toaster oven.

These were so easy to make and very yummy. They came out light and fluffy! I did however use eggnog instead of milk (it was New Years to make it extra special.

This recipe is boring and little flavor. Also ingredients and directions are written wrong....someone needs to watch how they write directions.

My husband and in-laws have used pancake mixes for at least the last 8 years b/c of their "easy." We this recipe I have convinced them fresh is easy and FAR superior. Don't be afraid of the amount baking powder or melted butter. Makes them fluffy and flavor full. Wait until the pancakes have bubbled and poofed before flipping them. Great with any type of added fruit, nuts, or chocolate. My favorite is pecans, chocolate and a tsp of cinnamon. Like a cc cookie, no syrup needed!

These pancakes were so yummy! They're super moist and a bit more like some sort of corn cake rather than a pancake.I used the modifications that were suggested by the other user (Added 1 Tbs. baking powder and only 2 c. milk and they turned out wonderfully. We will definitely make these again!
