These were the worst pancakes ever. Flat, dense...just horrible.

My husband said these were the best he's ever had. I added blueberries, and the flavor was awesome, but because the blueberries held them off the griddle a little bit, they didn't brown as easily. But the flavor was so good I ate them with butter and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

These were not only really simple, but I loved the flavor. Skipped the syrup, just ate them with butter. I'll never buy mix again!

My 2 year old ate 4 of these pancakes. I changed it up a little bit and added cinnamon to the recipe to complement the nutmeg. I also put some chocolate chips in some which were obviously a big hit! This was a great recipe for nice thin pancakes though - loved it!

I had run out of my favorite pancake mix and really craving them! I tried this recipe but replaced the nutmeg with cinnamon, it just seemed weird to me, and they turned out amazing! I added chocolate chips and slathered them in butter and I was in heaven!! Great recipe and it makes me feel like a bonafide cook!!

I made these pancakes because lately all I've wanted was to just make pancakes from scratch & I've been trying many different recipes. So far this one was THE BEST!! It had so much flavor & they were the perfect thickness. I did grate more nutmeg into the batter after I tasted the first pancakes I made but it was amazing. These were so worth it & not hard to make at all!!

I was in a pinch, ran out of bisquick and needed something quick to make with what I had in the kitchen. Was excellent tasting. I added chocolate chips and pecans too. will definately use again.

So simple, and sweet enough not to need syrup :
I like flatter pancakes, so these were great. I added more nutmeg because I love nutmeg.

I've tried several recipes and this one really turned out well. It's so simple to make! I substiute the milk with coconut milk and the butter with margerine because my son has a dairy allergy. I also add a teaspoon of cinnamon. My kids loves these pancakes!

*For some of the other people who have tried this recipe without success, make sure you check the expiration date on your Baking Powder, it really makes the difference between fluffy pancakes and flat ones!

The batter was a bit thin& tasteless so I made the following modifications.

To the dry ingredients I added:
    1/4 cup of flour
substituted the nutmeg for 1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp orange peel
    subtracted 1 tsp of sugar

To the wet ingredients I added:
3 TBS of honey - after I melted the butter I mixed the honey into the butter to help it mix into the eggs and milk easier
