I'm not sure why everyone always thinks that just because you're using ground turkey it's lower in fat. Check your labels. Most are actually higher in fat than lean ground beef. Just want to make that clear. As for this, it's okay. The vinegar is an unusual twist. It definitely needs a bit of salt and pepper, but I wouldn't add much more. As Bobby Flay says, adding a bunch of extras to the meat is turning it into meatloaf.

Yum! I do agree that this turkey/ground beef combo is a great idea! You get the juiciness of a beef burger but with a reduction in fat and calories. Fabulous! My only complaint was that the meat needed a bit more flavor, the S/P and Worcestershire just wasn't enough. I see someone added Montreal seasoning to the meat...something like that is probably a good suggestion,as the burger itself did lack a bit of flavor. We did a Monterrey Jack and Pepper Jack combo for the two slices of cheese (one slice of each, which added a nice kick. Easy recipe...a definite keeper. :

I found this recipe to be tasteless and a waste of money. I was really looking forward to it but was disappointed in the end.

Very good. I seasoned the meat with some montreal seasoning to added a little more worcestershire for flavor. I also took some thin sliced ham and and layered it between one slice of bread and cheese. Turned out great.

Love this recipe! I love ground turkey, but my husband seems to have an aversion to it. So I was thrilled when I saw this blend of turkey and beef. I figured I could slide it past him. Sure enough, after tasting it he asked what it was, as it was “Amazing”. I might be able to turn him into a turkey lover yet with recipes like this.

Add this recipe to your rotation. I followed it exactly except I added a little cayenne pepper to the meat mixture, and crushed red pepper to the onion & mushroom mix. Also, I didn't add that much ground beef (like the size of a large meatball.

We really enjoyed this! Used all beef instead of the turkey/beef combo and skipped the mushrooms.

I LOVE this sandwich!! It's so tasty, it doesn't need any mayo or other dressing. It's very satisfying, too. It fits into my new way of eating (low cal, but it sure tastes like I'm cheating! I think I'll start making all of my burgers with this ground turkey/ground beef combo to cut back on the calories. I find turkey burgers to be dry, but not this combo one.

This was a big hit with my family. I did make a big pan of gravy with the grease that fried out of the meat (to dip sandwiches in. I also put the sandwiches together and grilled it in my george forman grill. This was a big heat with everyone. Will make again...soon.
