Followed the recipe exactly....and after I finished and tasted the cookies I looked at the recipe several times to make sure I didn't miss anything. The cookies were dry and tasteless! My husband tried one and asked "got milk?". Would not make these cookies again!

I made this but, with almond butter and used almond extract, we loved them! they're almost like shortbread and I did'nt want an overly sweet cookie, so we thought they were perfect!!!

This receipe is awful. The batter is crumbly and the cookies turn out tasteless. It seems there's something missing here, but I feel like I've wasted enough time. I'll stick with my family receipe.

The cookies were horrid! They were dry and tasteless. I wish I had read all of the reviews prior to making them.

The cookies were easy to make and they came out beautifully, but I did not like the taste of them. They were not sweet enough.

I intended to be creative to start. This is my first pbc recipe that I've tried. I added Natural granola maple flavored and used wheat flour. You have to test taste as you prep. I had to add a lil more sugar and jazzed it up with some vanilla flavor 1 cap full. Topped it off with the real sweet chocolate stuff they advertise as being healthy for your kids "Nutella" right in the center once it was done. It suited my taste buds anyway. OOps forgot the baking soda used powder instead. Thanks for a cookie base.

This recipe is just like my Grandmothers, and I searched high and low for one that wasn't just peanut butter and flour! No disrespect to Paula Deen (whom I love I just wanted a taste of home! My kids LOVE these crispy cookies. We don't get 50 cookies out of them, but get only about half of that because we make "big" cookies. Wonderful!

I agree with the other reviews that say this recipe should be deleted. I was surprised it came from food network! Try Paula Deen's cookies or one with a better rating.

This was a huge waste of time. The cookies were dry and flavorless. Following this recipe has taught me to read the reviews carefully prior to starting. This should be deleted from the recipe list!

These cookies are terrible - I followed the recipe to the max, even cooked the second batch 6 minutes less - still they were dry, crumbly. The good news is - the dogs seem to like them (although they liked the dough better than they liked the cookies.

If this is any indication of what the food network kitchens come up with, they need to back up and regroup. Unbelievable!
