This pecan pie was delicious the crust was so butter and yummy. I will be making this again and again! The vanilla bean adds such a great flavor!

This pecan pie is by far the best pie I have ever tasted or made. I made it last year as an experiment for my husband and me, and because we loved it so much, I brought it to our friend's house for Thanksgiving. She is a an awesome baker, and even she was impressed. I must admit though, that I have not tried it with the apple cider vinegar. Seems like it would ruin the flavor, but obviously others have done it and loved it.

This is an excellent recipe and makes a fantastic pie. On another note, I don't understand why stacy p. would give this 1 star when she didn't even make it. Take it out on FN not the chef's recipe. Use your head.

I made this pie for a family dinner with my husband's family... Both my husband and his mom are huge Pecan Pie fans, It is by far their favorite dessert and both of them said that it was the best pecan pie they've ever had! :

It was so easy to make and I did it with my family and we had a blast, I think I browned the oil wrong though, but that is OK.

Absolutely delicious! Made it with a shortbread crust instead and I have to say it was probably one of the best I've ever had. So hooked.

The best pecan pie recipe! I've been asked to pass along this recipe, and make it again for our next family gathering. The texture and flavor could not have been better.

This was the best pecan pie I have ever eaten, and it was not hard to make. I did substitute liquid vanilla for the bean, but, otherwise, I made it exactly as written. A friend just asked me for the recipe....thanks FN magazine!

my first attempt @ pecan pie, had a premade mix for the crust but used this recipe for the filling. Got from my Food Network Magazine. My family really enjoyed it.

Really easy to make! I toasted the pecans in the oven for 10 minutes, let them cool, then made the pie. YUM!! Will save to make again for next year!
