After reading the reviews, I was sold. After making this cranberry sauce (which everybody loved, I will never buy canned again. Thanks to a reviewer who used juice instead of water, I did that as well (lemon juice and I omitted the zest (for some reason, my husband has a complete aversion to any kind of zest!. Don't ignore the salt and pepper at the end. I tasted it before adding and after adding and it really makes a difference.

This is, in fact, perfect. I make it for almost every major family dinner, and it's always a big hit. Throw the leftovers on a salad or turkey sandwich -- YUM!

This a great recipe, I did this recipe last year, but, I did lemon zest and it was good. When i read through the reviews this year a reviewer said she added whole oranges instead of the zest of one, So, I did the same, OOOOMMMMMMGGGGG!!!!! Since oranges have their own sugar in them you don't have to add more sugar. It made a huge difference in taste. My youngest son loves to eat (not cranberry sauce but, this year every plate he made yesterday and today their was this sauce on his plate. BRAVO! Food network Magazine

Fantastic! This was very easy to make. I used orange juice instead of water, and added a bit of cinnamon at the end, as others have suggested. Yum!

Introduced homemade cranberry sauce to my Mother 2 years ago, and she loves it! I remember growing up having the canned (with the indents from the can on the cranberries lol and decided to try a cranberry sauce recipe and glad I did! Mine looks just like the picture. Thank you food network! Without you I would be a clueless cook :0

I'm a Latina so cranberry sauce is not a part of my family holiday tradition however, after wanting to give our Thanksgiving table a twist this year I prepared this sauce and could not be any happier that I did! So yummy!!

DELICIOUS! We'll see how family likes it tomorrow. As for Bobby and I? I'm not planning on buying the canned cranberries ever again. This is so simple to make and WOW the flavor.
