Needs something for the browning. Lemon is better than lime, and Fruit Fresh is better than both.

I love this guacamole dip! I will now be using this recipe from here on out. I make guacamole every week and I love this recipe because of the fresh herb taste and kick from the peppers. I was using a good bit of garlic and cayenne in my guacamole, but you don't need it with this recipe. Perfection!

It was good, but something was missing. It needed a little lime or lemon juice.

I love this recipe, have made it several times since I found it in an issue of FN Magazine. The only thing is you really do want to add some lime juice to this one so you don't have brown guacamole...and this is a very basic recipe so add garlic if you want, play with it. I just like my guac plain and simple this is sooooo good!

As mentioned before me, AB's recipe is still my favorite, that thing gets requested all the time from family and friends. This recipe just didn't deliver for me, it lacked the true guacamole taste and refreshing quality. Plus as mentioned by everyone before me there is no lime.

May I suggest substituting flat-leaf parsley for the cilantro for us?

No lime to keep it from browning? No thanks. Besides - I've had AB's guac and it is amazing. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/guacamole-recipe/index.html

This is a great recipe! However, I would squeeze a lime over it to keep it from browning.
