    I don't really like pork unless it is covered in sauce and barbecued, so i might have been biased. I thought the dish did not have much flavor.

    This was delicious, very easy to make, and healthy too. I made it with pork loin chops on the bone and came out perfect. Didn't wipe out the pan at all so I could grab the most flavor as possible ;

    This was a great recipe! I added some flour to the onions and apples before I added the liquid to make it more of a gravy as recommended in another review. It was a very warm flavorful dish! It was comfort food with out the guilt! We enjoyed it. It will be added to our dinner menu again.

    Nice and moist chops. After searing my chops I partially wiped out the pan to leave some of the goodness in there for the apples and onion. After searing the apple and onion I deglazed the pan with some pinot grigio I had around the house. We LOVE the flavor. Debating on adding a little thickener to the sauce afterward to give it more of a gravy feel next time.

    Delicious combination of savory and sweet. Cooked the pork chops all the way before removing them from the pan. Oh, and did not wipe the pan before adding onions & apples. Wanted to keep those tastey bits full of flavor in there. Cooked the onions and apples until the onions and apples were pretty soft and carmelized before adding apple juice.
    Will make again for sure.

    Made this for my family and loved it. I used apple juice (I didn't have cider, added a little cayenne to the pork chops and took another reviewer's advice and lightly floured the pork chops before I pan fried them. Definately will make again.

    This recipe has just been printed and added to my recipe binder. It was delicious! Like another reviewer, I do not particularly care for a combination of sweet and savory as an entree. However, this was the exception to the rule. My whole family raved over every component, and how well they complimented each other. I did add a little more Apple Cider, and cooked the chops for about 8 minutes to ensure that they were well cooked. This would be a good recipe for a cool evening, one to serve company, and to give to a neighbor. Yummy! Yummy!

    Made this recipe using Stayman Winesap apples and it was delicious! I don't usually like fruit with savory dishes, but I will make this again. Works well with rice too if you don't have any potatoes on hand. The only change I made was cooking the pork chops all the way through before I made the apples/onion & sauce. This gave the pork a chance to rest before serving and let me brown them as much as I wanted. Tasty!

    I pretty much followed the recipe as written. Sliced the apples a little thinner based on comments about cooking time. Tasted great. My chops did not get that deep color like in the photo even though I browned the meat as instructed, so the plate looked pretty beige. Oh, and I didn't wipe out the skillet. Why would I do that and get rid of all those tasty bits?
