This is an "awesome" cookie! The only item that I used that was not listed, was spices (just a hint in the icing! Then, decorated with the candy corn! Everyone liked them . . . they didn't last long!

What a fast and yummy cookie. My whole family has raved about this cookie to our whole neighborhood! My kids love to be a part of the frosting and putting the nut on the top! What a super yummy fall cookie!

This is a simple, but excellent cookie. It is very moist and stays that way as well. If you like carrot cake or any type of pumpkin flavor, you will love this recipe. It has a very mild flavor unlike a spice cookie and the frosting is delicious as well.
AS A NOTE -- THE FROSTING STATES 1 TABLESPOON OF VANILLA, It means to say 1 TEAspoon most likely as I had to then almost tripple the frosting recipe to compensate for the strong vanilla flavor.
