The butternut squash was golden brown, crispy, and sweet. I topped with the cheese and added chopped walnuts (per someone's suggestion then put it under the broiler for a few minutes to brown the top. It was incredible and I will definitely make it again.

Wow,this was great. The sweet butternut squash and the gorgonzola cheese - what a great combination. If you like both of these ingredients - you will love this dish. This is the first recipe I've ever rated - I had to rate this to offset the person who gave this a lower rating and by the comments it was obvious they didn't even try the recipe. Try this - an easy, elegant way to serve squash!

I really liked this recipe. I tried it with the gorgonzola cheese and without it. Personally I liked it without it...but it was still tasty with it. I would recommend trying this dish!

This was a wonderful and easy way to cook squash. The cheese complimented the squash well. I would recommend this to anyone!

Very easy and browned beautifully. I used Blue Cheese b/c I had some...used less as it's stronger. I didn't peel all the skin and it crisped in the oven and made a nice texture. The only problem was it was so good we ate too much. Next time I may add some chopped pecans or walnuts.

I don't understand how these two flavors would ever go together.

We really enjoyed this one. I probably used a tad more gorgonzola than called for. The mixture of the slightly sweet Butternut combined with the salty cheese was incredible. Just the two of us ate the whole recipe (and we also had pork loin!.

    Highly recommended!
