Very easy to prepare, anyone can make this if they can follow a recipe. First time I made this dressing, it was a big hit and now it has become a tradition for holiday meals.

This was the first time I prepared Thanksgiving dinner all by myself and I used this recipe. I made it up the day before and did not bake it. I put it in the refrigerator over night and baked it right before dinner was ready. I did end up using more butter on top because I thought being in the refrigerator over night might have dried it out some. Everyone loved this dressing and the leftovers were just as good. This will bed a dressing I cook every year!

Apples and walnuts are a great addition. I added craisins and additional rubbed sage, but, then again, I love sage. I even put a few fresh sage leaves in my hot tea sometimes!

This stuffing was okay but it turned out fairly dry. The day after Thanksgiving, I "fixed" it by adding more sausage and chicken broth and that helped, but not much. I expected a lot more flavor from this than it actually had.

I was looking for something that was a little more unique than the classic stuffing my family always makes. I was a little skeptical about this recipe because it seemed like the flavors might be too strong, but it was excellent. It was rich and subtle, people didn't even know it was sausage that made it so good until I told them. Absolutely delicious. I added some fresh sage to my recipe because i had some left over from my turkey, but I don't think it was too dramatic a change to the recipe.

Instead of fresh dried bread cubes, I used the Trader Joe's stuffing that comes with a seasoning packet. I used a half and half ratio of water to broth, and used only one apple. Turned out fantastic!

This was the easiest stuffing I've ever made! It was a big hit with my guests as well. Definitely one recipe I'll be holding onto for future holidays.

This dressing was wonderful, but I did have to add a few things. 1 1/2 TB poultry seasoning, 1 TB sage, 1 cup dried cranberries. This is the best dressing I have ever made, and this will ALWAYS be used for years to come!

This was easy to make. I thought it was gonna be sweet because of the apples but it wasn't. For some reason finding sage sausage is not the easiest thing so I added the sage to it. No biggie.
