This was such a nice twist on the traditional stuffing recipes. This was the first stuffing I've ever made so I was a little nervous. It was a big hit and in my opinion could be made for a meal.

This dressing was delicious! I served it for Thanksgiving and everyone RAVED. I followed another user and used fresh chicken apple sausage and the packaged chicken apple sausage and it was delish! I did use the toasted walnuts and I love the crunch in the stuffing! Thank YOU Food Network Kitchens for this wonderful recipe!

The family LOVED this one at Thanksgiving. I was the only person who wasn't crazy about it, but this is probably because of my slight aversion to sausage.

This was the best stuffing that I have ever tasted. I had a small holiday dinner party and this stuffing was the hit. I added slightly more walnuts than the recipe called for and to make it ultra holiday-esque I added dried cranberries. I used regular chicken sausage and added fresh sage (which I got comments from everyone that ate it about how well the sage went with the dish. This recipe makes a ton of dressing so I took the left overs to work and everyone loved it there too. I have had 4 people at work ask for the recipe and multiple requests from my family and friends to make it again for christmas and maybe sooner. This paired with the cranberry glazed turkey and some garlic mashed potatoes makes for a hit Thanksgiving dinner. C'est Magnifique..!

I had my Mother-in-law over for dinner and wasn't sure if she would or my new husband would like this dressing, so I went ahead and made mashed potato. This dressing was a hit. I am going to make it for Thanksgiving. Thank you very much for the recipe. My Mother-in-law said I should open a restaurant.
