    I do not feel this recipe warrants a five star rating, at best a 3 star rating. It just tasted like you opened kraut and added it to sausage. The other ingredients did not come out in it.

    Was really good. I like my kraut more sour so I don't soak it and I think that next time I cook it I will put some of those little pearl cocktail onions in it instead of the regular chopped ones. Didn't have any juniper berries either.

    YUMMY!! This is an awesome recipe. Follwed it exactly. Doubled it so we would have a quick warm up meal for the next day! Easy and very deliciousss! Everyone loved it. Will definately make again and again. Found the Juniper berries easy enough (didn't think they were available here. Printed it to go into my Favorite Recipe Book. Hats off to Food Network for this one! I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

    It was very tasty. My husband said on a scale from 0-10 it was an 8. I also enjoyed it. It was something different. For the most part I used the recipe. I left out the apple, and used white pot., because that is all I had. I could not find the juniper berries. I am not sure that chardonnay wine is dry, but I used it. I could not get it to thicken, so I used a slotted spoon to serve. In the end I would make it again. I really enjoyed it.

    I made this on New Year's Day and it was a hit! I used 2 lbs of kielbasa (1/2 low fat and 1/2 regular instead of the meat that was called for and I omitted the juniper berries (I could not find them at any of the supermarkets in town. I will definately make this again before next new years!

    Good recipe, very easy. Juniper or no juniper berries you can't go wrong. I have however seen a recipe calling for Gin instead of Juniper (as juniper berries are present in gin, which sounds like an adventure... Regardless, get a tea-ball infuser thingy or make a sachet with cheesecloth when using juniper berries to make it easier to get them out of there when you are ready to serve. It will ruin your whole day if you bite into one of those guys.

    I've made this recipe several times and it has turned out GREAT each time. Have not found the juniper berries but it is still very good. Made it for a family reunion and it was a hit.

    Don't skip the juniper berries, they really added a ton of flavor. I added a bit of hot paprika bc we like spicy. Definitely will make again!

    will def make again, reminds me of a stovetop pork chop/kraut recipe my mom made when I was little. This is really yummy.
