I made this over the weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. It will become part of my "go to" recipes. I did add more salt and pepper than the recipe called for but that is a matter of taste. Thanks for the great recipe.

Excellent and easy --only change was I use sour cream instead of cream fresh.

These came out great. I did add Grier Cheese to the mix and also on the top. This was the best recipe I have made so far for scalloped potatoes. I usually have a hard time getting the potatoes to cook but with this recipe the potatoes were cooked to prefection. Also I Love Foodnetwork Magazine:

This scalloped potato recipe was so good and pretty easy to make. Finally found the "Creme Fraiche" at the 3rd store I went to. It was a little expensie but totally worth it.

Made this recently for a dinner party to go with the Salmon w/ Lemon, Capers etc. Was great and I made it early in the day and baked it and then reheated in a 300 deg. oven for 15 mniutes nearer serving time. I had to go to a specialty gourmet store for the creme fraiche but it really adds something to the recipe. Everyone loved it and the huge dish only had a little left over for hubby and me for the next day. Enough creme fraiche is left over to make another one for another dinner party in a couple of weeks. This recipe is definetly a keeper and is not too rich and went beautifullly with the salmon recipe and I added in the roasted aspargus with hollandaise as a side dish and voila a perfect evening with good food for my guests. Don't forget the chives, really helps the look of the dish. THanks - FN

I found this recipe pretty bland. Other than the enormous amount of fattening ingredients, it wasn't that tasty. Looking for something a bit more exciting.

Made this for dinner last night with some grilled trout. Sooo good! Very easy to make, however, wouldn't make them too often......very high in fat, but delicious!

These scalloped potatoes are very easy. I served them tonite with a spiral ham, pineapple, steamed green beans and cucumber salad. Everybody loved the potatoes. I will definitely make these again.

Made these twice and still not sure if they are the best so I gave them a 3 star. Over all I liked the like taste of onion but wish they were more flavorfull. Great side dish if you are looking for something. NOTE - I noticed all the recipes I have made that the Food Network folks put togther are wayyy too complacted and take forever to make.
