Do you really add the Shrimp Shells then pulse those into the mixture? Thx for any suggestions.

This is a fantastic bisque. I love creamy-type soups and this is one of the best. The previous reviewer missed out on a great soup. A bisque type soup is flavored by the broth not the meat. You can always add a few pieces of the shrimp at the end to decorate the bowl.

This is a very tasty bisque but it's shrimp flavor is strong. The previous reviewer didn't try the recipe because of no actual shrimp in the finished product but the taste is sure there! One can also improvise like I did and add a few cooked shrimp to the bowels of soup as a garnish. Every time I've served, my guests practically lick their bowls.
