This is decadent and delicious. I used a little bit of bacon grease instead of olive oil when sauteing the vegetables. I also used egg noodles instead of penne and it worked great. This is delicous home- made comfort food!

I just started trying to do a little bit more of a low-cal diet and I was terrified everything was going to be flavorless but I thought this recipe was great. I'm surprised people didn't think it had enough flavor. I think the trick of the recipe is letting the pasta cook in the beef broth with the aromatics which cook down and become a thick flavorful sauce. I added an extra 1/2 tablespoon of tomato paste and extra carrots. Next time I'll add more mushrooms and go lighter on the parsley. I also did this on a rotini vs penne which I think went better with the texture.

This recipe lacked in flavor and was very tasteless. If you have picky eaters this might be a recipe for you, but for those with more enhanced tastebuds stay away

very good, love all the veggies. It requires quite a bit of seasoning. I also used a little extra cream cheese and sour cream. We both really enjoyed it

Made my batch without the mushrooms. Very tasty and better for you than traditional beef stroganoff. Quick, easy, healthy and delicious--what more could you ask for?!

It was delicious!! It took awhile with all the chopping and steps, but it wasn't hard, and it was so yummy - especially considering the calorie count! This is going into my rotation...

Very simple to make, but in the end mine came out really bland. I don't think I left anything out, but perhaps I did, seeing as everyone else found it to be a success.

Quick and easy. Only thing I will change next time is the cooking time for the onions and carrots. The onions weren't broken down enough for the flavor to blend and the carrots still had some crunch after 10 mins. That could also just be me...enjoy.
