My husband and I both love this salad. The pickles and pickle juice, along with the cayenne pepper, make it interesting. We keep wanting more!

The blend of seasonings was a nice change from the ordinary. The little spice or zip with the pepper was a good addition. Suggestion would be to cook the black eyed peas a little prior to putting in the skillet (this will soften them easier.
The dish provides enough for 4 modest portions.

This sounds really good...but I'm unclear about the serving sizes. The recipe says to divide between bowls and the nutritional information is giving "per serving".
What is a serving size? I look foward to trying it as I posted a good review. The computer would not let me proceed without it...Perhaps there should be someplace to "Ask a question" other than this comment page. Thank you so much!
