These are the Best brownies I have ever had and easy to make. The only drawback is that they are super-rich.

This was an awesome recipe that everyone loved! I did however make a few changes; I wanted to use a 13x9 pan, so I used 2cups of graham crackers with 2 1/2T of sugar and 8T of butter. Cooked for 10 min before pouring boxed brownie mix on top. I also cut marshmellows in half with sticky side down. These were a big hit at home and at work.

I have made this on 4 different occasions for different parties. Each time, people I don't know at the party have to make an announcement to see who made the brownies! They are always a hit! I always use a brownie mix (high end and applesauce in place of oil to save some calories and fat (use 1:1 ratio. They come out moist and delish!

I cut the brownies first, before adding the marshmallows. After cutting I added mini marshmallows and used a kitchen torch to brown. No fuss, no muss.

Loved these brownies as is and also tried with butterscotch chips (blondies, instead. Both were excellent. Only suggestion, try using marshmallow fluff to cover the brownies instead - it gives better coverage and is easier to cut.

Lots of requests for this recipe! I used mix because I was in a hurry, but it turned out delicious. I also cut the marshmallows in half because it was a tight fit in my broiler with them full size. I brought them to a party, and the only problem we encountered was that a lot of the crust crumbled away. I'll have to work on the graham crust, but I will definitely make this again.

I had a Duncan Hines brownie mix that I wanted to make into something interesting, so I DID use a brownie mix. I took some of the other suggestions and made a few adjustments of my own:
I used a 13x9 pan, first of all, so I only cooked the crust for about 8 minutes and then cooked the brownies according to the directions on the box for a 13x9 pan. I cut the marshmallows in half as well and put them sticky side down, but I did them in rows so that I had a little room to cut between them and I did not put any marshmallows up to the edge of the pan. The knife still got a little messy, but not the nightmare others seemed to experience. And I found no need to use any foil to line the pan...they came out perfectly.

I was really disappointed in this recipe. I used a whole stick of butter in the crust instead of 6 T, baked it for only 15 minutes and that is the only part of this recipe that turned out. For the brownie, I used a Betty Crocker mix, but it wasn't done after 40 minutes. It probably would have taken at least an hour to get done. The marshmallows were a mess. I couldn't cut them when they were warm and I definitely couldn't cut them when they had cooled a bit (I even sprayed my knife with cooking spray. They ended up being gummy and hard. I also have no idea why the recipe tells you to line the pan with foil. I had to cut the marshmallows away from the foil and ended up with foil bits in the dessert. I was planning on taking this to a family gathering, but my husband and I ended up throwing it away. It looked like too much of a mess to take anywhere.

I was kind of disappointed with how difficult the batter was to make and will probably be using brownie mix if I do this again since it wasn't that special. Other than that, this recipe delivered what I expected.

Soooo... got a little worried after reading the reviews and changed some stuff up. I only baked the crust for 10 minutes. The brownie portion turned out really thick which was fine but make sure you re-heat them otherwise can seem a little dry. It did take between 40-45 minutes to back and for the marshmellows I cut them in half. I placed the sticky side down on the brownies. I did allow them to cool but not very long before pulling them out and cutting them. Much easier to cut if you use a large knife and wet it each time before cutting. Didn't really have to many problems with that part. I did reheat them prior to eating because once cooled they seemed dry. I think next time you could definitly use a brownie mix to cut time or maybe not add all the mix you make with the recipe so the brownie portion doesn't turn out to thick. These were a big hit though and I did cut them into smaller pieces than what was called for in the recipe. Warmed and served with ice cream!!
