these were great! my friends and I always make smore's with reeses cups too, so last minute I decided to melt peanut butter, spread it on top of the brownies and then place the marshmallows. ended up being the perfect touch!

A lot of work! As other reviewers said, the marshmallows were a mess! Definitely try some of their tricks below. I made it as the recipe stated and tried to cut while hot but still a gooey mess and the tops of the marshmallows wouldn't stay in place. The graham cracker crust was excellent- the brownie part was ok....I think you could use boxed brownie mix for less work and the same effect. Needs to cook longer than it states- about 55 minutes.

So good. Simple list of ingredients, easy preparation and a great pay off! So rich after one piece, whether you want to be or not, you're done.

I have been excited to try this recipie since I saw it several months ago. I didn't mind the extra steps in making brownies from scratch, but honestly did not find that brownie part so yummy. The brownies took extra time to cook then stated. I think next time I'll save myself the hassle and just go with the box. Like most on here, I had to fight with the marshmallow in order to cut it. I did try the cutting each marshmallow in half with the sticky side down. What a mess. I think maybe if I cut the brownies into squares while they are still hot from the oven, it may be better then waiting until it completly cooled. I won't give up on this recipe.

I just made this recipe for the second time today to serve at a 4th of July picnic. I think I found a great way to place the marshmallows on top: get 16 large marshmallows and place them equally apart on top of the brownie so that you will get 16 square brownies and each person gets their own marshmallow! You can easily cut between each marshmallow. To secure the marshmallows, I anchored the ones that wouldn't stay put to the brownie with a toothpick. When they cool, gently remove the toothpick and voila!

After reading other reviews about the marshmallows not sticking I made this recipe with a different solution. I cut the marshmallows in half and put the "sticky" side down. Worked great! I was able to put 25 half marshmallows down so when I cut them I got 25 brownies out of an 8x8 pan and didn't have to cut through any sticky marshmallows. Hope that helps!

I have made this recipe 3 times now and have finally perfected the marshmallow stick-on problem and wanted to share my technique. The marshmallows always came off in a sheet or cut goo-ily, sticking to the knife. But, we loved the recipe and so... After baking the brownies, I poured on some chocolate chips, returned it to the oven for a few minutes, and then smeared them over the brownies like frosting. Then, I put on the mini-marshmallows individually positioning them so that there was a cutting line between them. Today, I used them 1 per inch since it was a tea and I wanted small squares, and the last time I did them 4 at a square for bigger pieces- then browned them as in the original recipe. I have also experimented with using a larger pan to make the fudgy layer a bit thinner for when they are for kids who want to eat more than one. The plate was empty after had to be refilled at the girl scout tea this afternoon! And the leaders wanted the recipe!

I made this yesterday. I ended up using a box mix (Betty Crocker, as I felt the brownie portion was more labour intensive than I wanted to commit to. I used mini marshmallows as those were what I had on hand.

They turned out pretty great. Very tasty. The only difficulty was that a the marshmallows didn't stick to the brownies and b the marshmallows were difficult to cut. Problem a. was actually helpful to problem b. I took off the layer of baked marshmallows (they really didn't stick, cut the brownies, then tore bits of marshmallow and put on top.

People at the office liked them. I'd probably take the advice of another reviewer who baked the marshmallows in with the brownie mixture.

Since I saw this recipe, I wanted to try it out. I finally got the chance yesterday and it was amazing. I used a 9x13 pan so I had to increase the amount of graham cracker crust and I used mini marshmallows. My family and friends loved them and I can't wait to make them again.

This was good. If you have a sweet to tooth, this will be right up your alley. We found ourselves taking off the marshmallow & just eating the brownie with the crust. It was that sweet/salty thing happening. I will try again, except will use less marshmallows possibly mix small ones in the brownie batter. From there may only just make the brownies in the crust, that was awesome.
