This was the most popular dish at my daughter's baby shower today. Everyone wanted the recipe. I can't say enough good things about it and will keep the recipe close and serve it again and again. Thank you so much for making me look good!!!

I made this for lunch today, and it was wonderful with the exception of the tomatoes being ON TOP of the strata instead of mixed in. If they were roasted, then set aside to cool and shrink up a bit, then chopped and mixed in with the greens/egg/cheese mixture, that flavor would mix through the strata better than just placing them on top of the casserole. That's what I'm going to do next time, placing FRESH tomatoes on top during the last phase of cooking. Also used only spinach, but a little chopped fresh basil or arugula would be great mixed in too. Great brunch or lunch for 10-12 though, especially with a cantelope or fig w/fried,chopped prosciutto & almond salad!
