I didn't exactly make it the way they said. I didn't have sausage, so I used ground beef and put crushed red peppers in it. The recipe it a little confusing on the wording. And you don't really need to "stir fry the noodles". Egg noodles work just as well. Just simmer for as stated on the noodle package.

I used only sausage but it was very good. Nothing fancy but a perfect family meal. I used tomatoe sauce instead and to thicken the sauce I used corn starch. Overall a good dinner.

I haven't cooked in a few years but decided to start again after seeing this... I tried it but made the little mistake of putting far to much oil in. Im from united kingdom so we don't measure things by cup. But apart from that it was lovely! Defiantly going to cook this again.

Well, mine came out NOTHING like the picture. I had to use way more tomato puree because it was so watery once I poured the water in. Also, this is my first time cooking with italian sausage so a recommendation would have been nice- my sausage is tougher than I think it should be. In any case, I'll definitely try this again with some personal twist. This is a good week-long recipe with room for innovation so for that I look forward to a next time.

I must say the one-pot idea is what got me. I love to cook everything together for flavor reasons and for clean up reasons as well! Cooking the noodles in this fashion really gave them lots of flavor as it had time to sink in. I used tomato sauce thinking that paste would make it too acidic. It turned out wonderful! I will certainly make this again. Perhaps I would reduce the amount of oil and add some red pepper flakes for added spiciness. Yum-yum!

Followed the recipe but this came out really soupy, not at all like the picture. Really good flavor, next time I will add some red pepper flakes and maybe some frozen peas too.

It was good, but nothing amazing. Pretty much just spaghetti with extra pizazz. I probably won't make it again.

This was a very easy recipe and great for leftovers, both my husband and daughter took it to work the next day. I wasn't sure what tomato puree was so I used tomato paste, which worked ok. I wasn't sure about browning the noodles, maybe because I didn't use the right tomatoes? I added the noodles like they said and then the water, it still turned out wonderful.
