I have made this three times. I make a Hot + version adding 1
    T. chili powder. It works well with 5 c. nuts instead of 4 and makes a great hostess gift too.

Very Easy and Very Tasty !! - I like how the fire comes on afterwards but not too hot !! For the Holiday Season I'd do the same but omit the pepper for a sweet holiday taste.

Great spiced nut recipe! I made the Hot version because I forgot to add the chile powder! Still a good amount of heat. Will definitely make again!

We love these! My extended family is falling in love with them too, one by one! I don't usually carry parchment paper in the house so I just use tin foil. There is a bit of sticking to that, but not very much and it does make clean up easier than nothing. For us, we like a bit of extra cayenne. We make two batches at a time and add 4tsp cayenne instead of the 2.5 called for by the recipe. Nice heat and I find it nicely offset by the sugar so it's not too much for us. These disappear fast around my way!

Good heat when chipotle chili seasoning is added. However, forgo the parchment paper (aka: wax paper on the West Coast as the nuts stuck to the paper. Use cooking spray instead.

Absolutely fantastic spice mix. I only made the hot version, which allowed all the flavors of the spices to shine through but still heated up our throats. This is an outstanding recipe and it's clear someone in the Food Network kitchen knows how to make game party food!
