Ingredients
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
Directions
Pop the kernels according to package directions and transfer to a large serving bowl.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Mix in the remaining ingredients until well combined. Pour the spiced butter over the popcorn and toss until evenly coated. Serve.

Can you give instructions for popping the popcorn? The can said "Empty contents into microwave safe bowl and cook on high for 2-3 minutes or until hot." Problem is the corn never popped, I was left with a hot bowl of yellow corn in it's own juice! I proceeded with the recipe anyways and it was a tasty snack. I will make this recipe again with my modifications.
