made this several times- added a bit more sesame oil and also red peppers and snow peas for added crunch.

I loved it! It was simple, fast, easy and delicious. I thought that the sauce amount was just fine.

Very easy to make and tasted delicious! I doubled the sauce and added a box of fresh mushrooms. Will make this again!

A great Chinese style dish without the heavy sauce. It always turns out perfect. I serve with brown rice which really complements it.

Tried this recipe with a few variations. My husband not big into celery so I only used 1 rib and diced it. After I initially cooked the shrimp, I took them out and put it with the celery and cashews then added onions, green pepper, mushrooms and water chestnuts to the wok. Stir fried for a few minutes then added the ginger-garlic mixture, then the shrimp and celery/cashews. Tripled the sauce recipe since I read the other reviews. Then added rice noodles to the wok and tossed it all together. Outstanding. Very light but great flavor!!

I have never made a stir fry before, but now I want to make them all the time. This one was delicious and fast enough for a week night dinner. After reading the other comments I decided to add more vegetables in place of half the celery required. Broccoli, peppers, and carrots were a great addition. Also...I tripled the sauce and served over chinese noodles. Yum!

I also used a combo of veggies. I also thickened the sauce with a little cornstarch. I will definitely double the sauce next time. I also used white wine instead of the sherry and I couldn't tell any difference. I ate 3 meals of this since my husband didn't like it. As good on the third meal as the first.

Family loved this. I used 1/2 the celery and replaced that volume with a mix of mushrooms and broccoli. Since I served on noodles, I doubled the sauce. wonderful taste!
