Perfect salad to go along with Ina Garten's chinese chicken salad and my summer rolls. BTW, to the person that didn't have Bibb lettece and used Boston lettuce, they are the same thing, Boston, Bibb and Butter lettuce, all the same :

what a great appetizer! My guests loved it. Hard time finding bib lettuce but substituted with Boston lettuce.

I haven't made this yet but was wondering about the 23 cups of cilantro. Is that a typo?

I didn't have chili paste so used a sweet chili sauce and it was wonderful. Will remember this one and use over and over. Thanks!

I've been trying to find interesting "light" recipes for my husband and myself. This is definately a real keeper. It's sweet, hot, and full of flavor. My husband who normaly doesn't like nuts in his food even loved it! This would also be nice served salsa style on grilled meat. Thanks for the great recipe

This is an absolutely wonderful recipe. Every time I make this, people ask for the recipe. Also great with chicken or shrimp added!
