I agree with some of the other reviews. this recipe was not amazing, but was good and had some good flavors. I used extra oregano and seasoned the steak with pepper and johnnys seasoning salt. my steak was also thicker so I seared the same amount of time as directed, but left it simmering a little longer than directed. came out perfect. I used beef broth instead of water. however, next time I think im going to deglaze the pan with red wine then sauté the peppers. I hardly ever make a recipe exact. I like to recreate to make it my own.

I was looking for a simple, low calorie steak dish and this is perfect. I served it over spaghetti squash and it was delicious. I will be making this again.

it was ok.... steak needs to sit with the salt for a little bit longer. may try again

Easy to make and the pepperoncini's added a real zip to the dish. Also low cal for beef and low carb.

I subbed in California hit mix for the peppercinis and it was hotter and really good!
