Oh man these are so good. I made a few changes--I used white chocolate chips and fresh, mashed strawberries. They were amazing! I will definitely double the recipe last time since they were gone so quickly. They do take much longer than the suggested 20 mins, but I just left them in until the top turned slightly golden brown.

I have made these several times for folks at work and they have gone CRAZY for them...they always love my baking but this is the new favorite! Tips: bake for as long as it takes for the top to set up and harden a bit, definitely longer than the listed time; try doubling the recipe in a 9x13 pan; line the pan with non-stick foil; & use a really good quality strawberry jam - I use Bonne Maman and it is incredible, tastes like homemade. I thin the preserves a bit by heating in a saucepan, makes it easier to spoon on and swirl. Don't miss these!!

This recipie was very tasty and I will definetly make it again. My only complaint is that it was way to sweet. With 1 cup of sugar and jam for just 9 bars is alot! Next time I will use 3/4 cup or possibly even a 1/2 cup.

These were soooo yummy! Like others, I did have to bake them a bit longer than stated in the recipe.

I work in a nursing home and doubled the recipe to make these as a cooking class activity with some of the residents. They were so popular that I had people asking me about them for days, so when our annual bake off came around last week, I entered these and won!! They're excellent. Altho I had just used the last of my walnuts so I substituted toasted pecans and they were great!

I doubled this recipe and made in a 13x9 pan. I added coconut and omitted the nuts due to allergy of family member. They were fantastic and totally addictive! My husband ate them and commented how good they were. I did have to cook longer, but I also doubled the recipe so I really cannot comment on that part. I highly recommend these!

These were delicious!! I made my own jam with strawberries and rasberries for it it worked great. They did however take a lot longer to cook then the recipe said (55min total. Maybe I will add some oatmeal next time. Took them to work and the girls loved them.

I'm not a huge buterscotch fan but I thought I'd give these a go anyway. I really enjoyed them! I thought they were undercooked at first but after I allowed them to cool completely they were just fine. Next time I think I'll add more jam. The pieces with tons of gooy jam were my favorite!

Butterscotch chips--include these in your baked goods and cookies and you have an instant winner! I've loved butterscotch since I was a little one scrapping the sides of the metal pudding cans. I dotted these blondies with some snooty English strawberry preserves I got as a gift. These are an easy summer dessert favorite.
