I feel so bad bagging on this recipe when everyone else RAVED about it. I made because everyone thought it was so great! My sauce was completely liquidy. I should have read the advice of another reviewer that said to add an extra teaspoon of cornstarch. And I followed the advice of other reviews and added more garlic and a shallot, but the stuffing was still bland. I think if I had just simply added salt and pepper it would have been great. The seasoning on the chicken was great, the stuffing stayed inside the chicken nicely. My only complaint was the sauce. I kept cooking it thinking it was going to thicken up at some point, which after 25 minutes, not 2, it did. And I never thought it tasted good to begin with. When I had my boyfriend smell it, he said it smelled like stale bread. So, if anyone has mastered this sauce, give tips to those who failed miserably at it like I did!

This has a lot of ingrediants, not cheap, and takes a lot of prep work and cooking time. Not an easy week-night recipe but maybe something good to cook when you have the time, this is more of a weekend or day off type of meal.

I made this last night and it was fantastic. My husband loved it and said it looked and tasted like it was from a high end restaurant. As my husband does not like garlic I used lemon juice for the broccoli and cheese mix, I also used cooking twine to tie up the chicken so the stuffng would stay in...it was FABULOUS and the sauce was easy. More time consuming than I thought but worth it.

The instructions were great! The idea...fabulous! Everything worked to perfection, just took a little longer than planned. I stuffed the chicken with portabello's, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes vs the broccoli as recomended. I also used white wine instead of the Sherry...add a little more parmesan when finishing the sauce, and you'll knock it out of the park! My wife said she would go to a restaraunt just for that dish, and my son couldn't speak because he kept stuffing his face! Thank you Food Network for another genius idea!

This was good but I think could use a little more flavor. The broccoli could have used more cheese and garlic. I think I will add sauteed shallots, red pepper, and dijon mustard next time to the stuffing. I lightly breaded the chicken with italian bread crumbs which I like (I just wet the breasts with a little water and dip them in the bread crumbs. The sauce was a little thin and is a good starting point but needs something more. Overall it was good but can be improved with a few changes.

This was delicious! I made the Sherry Dijon sauce with white wine rather than sherry but it was still very good.

Amazing! Served it with steamed asparagus, crusty bread and a good bottle of cab. It was so good that my husband asked why we even bother going out for dinner. Maybe a little labor intensive the first time cooking for a weeknight dinner, but this definitely being saved on my "favorites" list.
